This research delves into the multifaceted role of Sadaqah (a voluntary act of charity) within the framework of the six educational dimensions outlined in Iran's Fundamental Reform Document of Education. By employing a content analysis method, the study examines various narrations and Islamic jurisprudential texts to uncover the connections between Sadaqah and these instances, with a particular focus on the perspectives of Ayatollah Khamenei. Key findings reveal that Sadaqah is deeply intertwined with multiple dimensions of education, including Belief, Worship, and Ethics: Sadaqah is often linked to strengthening faith, fulfilling religious obligations, and cultivating moral virtues; Social and Political Dimensions: Sadaqah can foster social cohesion, alleviate poverty, and contribute to the overall well-being of society. It can also support political and social justice initiatives; Economic and Professional Dimensions: Sadaqah can stimulate economic growth, create employment opportunities, and promote ethical business practices; Scientific and Technological Dimensions: While less explicit, Sadaqah can indirectly support scientific and technological advancements by fostering a culture of generosity and philanthropy, which can incentivize innovation and research. The study concludes that Sadaqah plays a key role in the holistic development of individuals and societies. By understanding its multifaceted nature, policymakers, educators, and individuals can harness the potential of Sadaqah to achieve the broader goals of the Fundamental Reform Document of Education.
